About Lisa

Welcome

Hi there! Welcome to my web site. My name is Lisa Doyon and I am a family child care provider. I have been a day care provider for more than 25 years. The saying “If you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life” is accurate! I couldn’t see myself doing anything else!

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, bookkeeper, grocery store runner, computer IT guy and Mr. Fix It for 35 years! He always supports and encourages me when I want to have over one of my day care children after working hours. He knows how important it is for me to maintain a relationship with precious families. I seriously never let them leave me!

I have two sons. One is married so I finally, FINALLY have a daughter, and they have two wonderful, young boys. So, I am now a grandmother to two awesome boys who are in my day are! My nest is not completely empty though, as I have 2 fur babies. Bowman and Scout are both yellow labs. They absolutely love the kids, but because my day care is situated in the basement of my home, they don’t see the kids very often.

On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, baking, gardening, painting, and traveling up to Squam Lake (my happy place)!

Professionally, I was awarded the first-ever TEACH child care scholarship, and I graduated with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2018, I received the Excellence in Child Care Award from Early Learning NH, one of only three people in the State to receive this award. I am credentialed in the Granite Steps for Quality, a program that enhances the quality of day care programs in New Hampshire. As part of this program, I use the Pyramid Model as a foundation of my daycare curriculum.
